يَا أَحْمَدَ اللهْ يُيَسِّرْ كُلَّ مَا قَدْ تَعَسَّرْ

يَا أَحْمَدَ اللهْ يُيَسِّرْ كُلَّ مَا قَدْ تَعَسَّرْرَبُّنَا اللهْ سُبْحَانَهْ لَهُ البَحْرُ وَالبَرّ

Yā aḥmada Allāh yuyassir kulla mā qad taʿassar, Rabbunā Allāh subḥānah lahu al-baḥru wa-al-barr

O Ahmad, Allah will make easy all that has become hard; our Lord is Allah, glory be to Him, His are the sea and the land,

مَالِكُ المُلْكِ وَاحْكَمْ مَنْ تَصَرَّفْ وَدَبَّرْالكَرِيمُ الرَّحِيمُ العَادِلُ المُحْسِنُ البَرّ

Māliku al-mulki waḥkam man taṣarraf wadabbar, Al-karīmu ar-raḥīmu al-ʿādilu al-muḥsinu al-barr

Owner of sovereignty, the wisest of all who dispose and arrange, the Generous, the Merciful, the Just, the Benevolent, the Kind,

وَاسِعُ الجُودْ وَالمَعْرُوفْ يُعْطِي وَيَقْهَرْنَحْمَدُهْ نَشْكُرُهْ فِيمَا قَضَى بُهْ وَقَدَّرْ

Wāsiʿu al-jūd wa-al-maʿrūf yuʿṭī wayaqhar, Naḥmaduh nashkuruh fīmā qaḍā buh waqaddar

Vast in generosity and kindness, He gives and He subdues; we praise Him and thank Him for all He has decreed and ordained.

قَلْبِي اصْبِرْ عَلَى المَكْتُوبْ وَالَّا تَصَبَّرْوَارْضَ بِالحُكْمِ مِنْ رَبِّكْ حَلَا عِنْدَكْ أَوْ قَرّ

Qalbī ṣbir ʿalā al-maktūb wāllā taṣabbar, Warḍa bi-al-ḥukmi min rabbik ḥalā ʿindak aw qarr

My heart, be patient with what is written, or else strive for patience, and accept your Lord's judgment, whether it is sweet to you or bitter.

فَانَّ رَبَّكْ بِكَ الطَفْ مِنْكْ وَاعْلَمْ وَاخْبَرْلَا تَعَرَّضْ وَلَا تَجْزَعْ وَلَا قَطْ تَضْجَرْ

Fānna rabbak bika aṭ-ṭaf mink waʿlam wakhbar, Lā taʿarraḍ walā tajzaʿ walā qaṭ taḍjar

For your Lord is gentler with you than you are; know this well. Do not object, do not grieve, and never be weary.

فَانَّ مَنْ يَسْخَطِ المَكْتُوبْ مَا قَطْ يَظْفَرْوَالَّذِي يَرْضَ بِالمَكْتُوبْ يُفْلِحْ وَيُجْبَرْ

Fānna man yaskhaṭi al-maktūb mā qaṭ yaẓfar, Walladhī yarḍa bi-al-maktūb yufliḥ wayujbar

For whoever resents what is written never succeeds, and whoever accepts what is written prospers and is restored.

وَاعْلَمْ انَّ القَضَا قَدْ كَانْ بِالخَيْرْ وَالشَّرّقَدْ جَرَى بُهْ قَلَمْ فِي اللَّوْحِ مِنْ قَبْلْ يَظْهَرْ

Waʿlam nna al-qaḍā qad kan bi-al-khayr wa-ash-sharr, Qad jarā buh qalam fī al-lawḥi min qabl yaẓhar

Know that the decree, good and bad alike, was written by the Pen on the Tablet before it appeared.

سَلِّمِ الأَمْرْ تَسْلَمْ لِلْمُهَيْمِنْ وَتُؤْجَرْجَلَّ ذُو العَرْشْ مَوْلَانَا الكَبِيرُ المُكَبَّرْ

Sallimi al-ʾamr taslam lilmuhaymin watuʾjar, Jalla dhū al-ʿarsh mawlānā al-kabīru al-mukabbar

Surrender the matter to the Guardian and you will be safe and rewarded; Majestic is the Lord of the Throne, our Master, the Great, the Exalted.

مَالِكُ المُلْكْ وَحْدَهْ مَا لِحَدْ فِيهْ مِنْ ذَرّكُلُّهُ الأَمْرُ لُهْ قَدَّرْ وَدَبَّرْ وَسَخَّرْ

Māliku al-mulk waḥdah mā liḥad fīh min dharr, Kulluhu al-ʾamru luh qaddar wadabbar wasakhkhar

He alone owns sovereignty; no one has an atom's share in it; the whole command is His: He decreed, arranged and subjected.

فَاحْمَدُوهْ اشْكُرُوهْ فِي حَالَيِ النَّفْعْ وَالضَّرّوَاذْكُرُوهْ اسْأَلُوهْ لَا تَسْأَلُوا غَيْرَهُ البَرّ

Faḥmadūh shkurūh fī ḥālayi an-nafʿ wa-aḍ-ḍarr, Wadhkurūh sʾalūh lā tasʾalū ghayrahu al-barr

So praise Him and thank Him in benefit and in harm, remember Him and ask Him, and ask no one but the Kind One.

ثُمَّ صَلُّوا عَلَى الهَادِي الشَّفِيعِ المُصَدَّرْأَحْمَدَ النُّورْ ذِي نُورُهْ عَلَى الكَوْنْ يَزْهَرْ

Thumma ṣallū ʿalā al-hādī ash-shafīʿi al-muṣaddar, Aḥmada an-nūr dhī nūruh ʿalā al-kawn yazhar

Then send blessings upon the guide, the foremost intercessor, Ahmad, the light, whose light shines upon creation.
