لَكَ الحَمْدُ يَا مُسْتَوْجِبَ الحَمْدِ دَائِماً

لَكَ الحَمْدُ يَا مُسْتَوْجِبَ الحَمْدِ دَائِماًعَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ حَمْدُ فَانٍ لِدَائِمِ

Laka al-ḥamdu yā mustawjiba al-ḥamdi dāʾiman, ʿalā kulli ḥālin ḥamdu fānin lidāʾimi

To You be praise, O You who are ever worthy of praise, in every state: the praise of the perishing for the Everlasting.

وَسُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ تَسْبِيحَ شَاكِرٍلِمَعْرُوفِكَ المَعْرُوفِ يَا ذَا المَرَاحِمِ

Wasubḥānaka Allāhumma tasbīḥa shākirin, Limaʿrūfika al-maʿrūfi yā dhā al-marāḥimi

Glory be to You, O Allah, the glorification of one grateful for Your well-known kindness, O Possessor of mercies.

فَكَمْ لَكَ مِنْ سِتْرٍ عَلَى كُلِّ خَاطِئٍوَكَمْ لَكَ مِنْ بِرٍّ عَلَى كُلِّ ظَالِمِ

Fakam laka min sitrin ʿalā kulli khāṭiʾin, Wakam laka min birrin ʿalā kulli ẓālimi

How often You have veiled every sinner, and how often You have been good to every wrongdoer!

وَجُودُكَ مَوْجُودٌ وَفَضْلُكَ فَائِضٌوَأَنْتَ الَّذِي تُرْجَى لِكَشْفِ العَظَائِمِ

Wajūduka mawjūdun wafaḍluka fāʾiḍun, Waʾanta al-ladhī turjā likashfi al-ʿaẓāʾimi

Your generosity is ever present and Your bounty overflows; You are the One hoped for to lift grave calamities.

وَبَابُكَ مَفْتُوحٌ لِكُلِّ مُؤَمِّلٍوَبِرُّكَ مَمْنُوحٌ لِكُلِّ مُصَارِمِ

Wabābuka maftūḥun likulli muʾammilin, Wabirruka mamnūḥun likulli muṣārimi

Your door is open to everyone who hopes, and Your goodness is granted even to those who turn away.

فَيَا فَالِقَ الإِصْبَاحِ وَالحَبِّ وَالنَّوَىوَيَا قَاسِمَ الأَرْزَاقِ بَيْنَ العَوَالِمِ

Fayā fāliqa al-ʾiṣbāḥi wa-al-ḥabbi wa-an-nawā, Wayā qāsima al-ʾarzāqi bayna al-ʿawālimi

O Splitter of the dawn, the seed and the date-stone, O Divider of provision among the worlds,

وَيَا كَافِلَ الحِيتَانِ فِي لُجِّ بَحْرِهَاوَمُؤْنِسَ فِي الآفَاقِ وَحْشِ البَهَائِمِ

Wayā kāfila al-ḥītāni fī lujji baḥrihā, Wamuʾnisa fī al-ʾāfāqi waḥshi al-bahāʾimi

O Sustainer of the fish in the depths of their sea, and Companion of the wild beasts in the far horizons,

وَيَا مُحْصِيَ الأَوْرَاقِ وَالنَّبْتِ وَالحَصَىوَرَمْلِ الفَلَا عَدّاً وَقَطْرِ الغَمَائِمِ

Wayā muḥṣiya al-ʾawrāqi wa-an-nabti wa-al-ḥaṣā, Waramli al-falā ʿaddan waqaṭri al-ghamāʾimi

O You who count the leaves, the plants and the pebbles, the sands of the desert and the drops of the clouds, one by one:

إِلَيْكَ تَوَسَّلْنَا بِكَ اغْفِرْ ذُنُوبَنَاوَخَفِّفْ عَنِ العَاصِينَ ثِقْلَ المَظَالِمِ

Ilayka tawassalnā bika ghfir dhunūbanā, Wakhaffif ʿani al-ʿāṣīna thiqla al-maẓālimi

To You we turn, and through You we plead: forgive our sins, and lighten for the disobedient the weight of their wrongs.

وَحَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الحَقَّ وَاعْصِمْ قُلُوبَنَامِنَ الزَّيْغِ وَالأَهْوَاءِ يَا خَيْرَ عَاصِمِ

Waḥabbib ilaynā al-ḥaqqa waʿṣim qulūbanā, Mina az-zayghi wa-al-ʾahwāʾi yā khayra ʿāṣimi

Make the truth beloved to us and guard our hearts from deviation and caprice, O best of guardians.

وَدَمِّرْ أَعَادِينَا بِسُلْطَانِكَ الَّذِيأَذَلَّ وَأَفْنَى كُلَّ عَاتٍ وَغَاشِمِ

Wadammir aʿādīnā bisulṭānika al-ladhī, Adhalla waʾafnā kulla ʿātin waghāshimi

Destroy our enemies with Your power, which has humbled and brought to nothing every tyrant and oppressor.

وَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا يَوْمَ يَنْكَشِفُ الغِطَابِسَتْرِ خَطَايَانَا وَمَحْوِ الجَرَائِمِ

Wamunna ʿalaynā yawma yankashifu al-ghiṭā, Bisatri khaṭāyānā wamaḥwi al-jarāʾimi

And be gracious to us on the Day the veil is lifted by covering our faults and erasing our crimes.

وَصَلِّ عَلَى خَيْرِ البَرَايَا نَبِيِّنَامُحَمَّدٍ المَبْعُوثِ صَفْوَةِ آدَمِ

Waṣalli ʿalā khayri al-barāyā nabiyyinā, Muḥammadin al-mabʿūthi ṣafwati ʾādami

And bless the best of creation, our Prophet Muhammad, the one who was sent, the chosen of Adam's line.
