الرَّبُّ صَلَّى دَائِمَا وَسَلَّمْ

الرَّبُّ صَلَّى دَائِماً وَسَلَّمْ يَا اللهعَلَى المُكَرَّمْ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Ar-rabbu ṣallā dāʾiman wasallam yā Allāh, ʿalā al-mukarram shayʾ lillāh

May the Lord send blessings and peace forever, O Allah, upon the honoured one, for Allah's sake!

أَرْجُو إِلَهِي ذَا الكَرَمْ وَالإِفْضَالْ يَا اللهمَوْلَى المَوَالِي شَيْءْ لِلّه

Arjū ilahī dhā al-karam wa-al-ʾifḍāl yā Allāh, Mawlā al-mawālī shayʾ lillāh

I hope that my God, Lord of generosity and bounty, O Allah, Master of masters, for Allah's sake,

يَفْتَحْ عَلَى قَلْبِي سَنِيَّ الأَحْوَالْ يَا اللهمِنْ كُلِّ عَالِي شَيْءْ لِلّه

Yaftaḥ ʿalā qalbī saniyya al-ʾaḥwāl yā Allāh, Min kulli ʿālī shayʾ lillāh

Will open to my heart the most sublime states, O Allah, from all that is lofty, for Allah's sake,

مِمَّا مَنَحْ أَوْتَادَهَا وَالأَبْدَالْ يَا اللهأَهْلَ الكَمَالِ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Mimmā manaḥ awtādahā wa-al-ʾabdāl yā Allāh, Ahla al-kamāli shayʾ lillāh

Of what He granted the pegs and the substitutes, O Allah, the people of perfection, for Allah's sake,

وَأَغْوَاثَهَا وَأَطْوَادَهَا وَالأَقْطَابْ يَا اللهنِعْمَ الرِّجَالِ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Waʾaghwāthahā waʾaṭwādahā wa-al-ʾaqṭāb yā Allāh, Niʿma ar-rijāli shayʾ lillāh

And the succours, the mountains and the poles, O Allah: what excellent men, for Allah's sake!

يَا اللّٰهْ بِذَرَّةْ مِنْ مَحَبَّةِ اللّٰهْ يَا اللهتُحْيِي فُؤَادِي شَيْءْ لِلّه

Yā Allāh bidharra min maḥabbati Allāh yā Allāh, Tuḥyī fuʾādī shayʾ lillāh

O Allah, an atom of the love of Allah, O Allah, to revive my heart, for Allah's sake,

أَفْنَى بِهَا عَنْ كُلِّ مَا سِوَى اللّٰهْ يَا اللهبَيْنَ العِبَادِ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Afnā bihā ʿan kulli mā siwā Allāh yā Allāh, Bayna al-ʿibādi shayʾ lillāh

By which I pass away from all that is other than Allah, O Allah, among the servants, for Allah's sake!

فَمَا أُرَجِّي اليَوْمْ كَشْفْ كُرْبَةْ يَا اللهمِمَّا أُعَانِي شَيْءْ لِلّه

Famā urajjī al-yawm kashf kurba yā Allāh, Mimmā uʿānī shayʾ lillāh

I hope today for no lifting of grief, O Allah, from what I suffer, for Allah's sake,

إِلَّا أَنْ صَفَا لِي مَشْرَبُ المَحَبَّةْ يَا اللهفِي كَاسْ هَانِي شَيْءْ لِلّه

Illā an ṣafā lī mashrabu al-maḥabba yā Allāh, Fī kas hānī shayʾ lillāh

Unless the drink of love becomes pure for me, O Allah, in a sweet cup, for Allah's sake.

وَاعْلَمْ بِأَنَّ الخَيْرَ كُلَّهْ أَجْمَعْ يَا اللهإِنْ كُنْتَ تَسْمَعْ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Waʿlam biʾanna al-khayra kullah ajmaʿ yā Allāh, In kunta tasmaʿ shayʾ lillāh

And know that all good, all of it, O Allah, if you will listen, for Allah's sake,

ضِمْنَ اتِّبَاعِكْ لِلنَّبِيِّ المُشَفَّعْ يَا اللهالبَابْ فَاقْرَعْ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Ḍimna ttibāʿik lilnnabiyyi al-mushaffaʿ yā Allāh, Al-bāb faqraʿ shayʾ lillāh

Lies in following the Prophet whose intercession is granted, O Allah; so knock at the door, for Allah's sake.

صَلَّى عَلَيْهِ الله مَا تَشَعْشَعْ يَا اللهمِنْ كُلِّ مَطْلَعْ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Ṣallā ʿalayhi Allāh mā tashaʿshaʿ yā Allāh, Min kulli maṭlaʿ shayʾ lillāh

May Allah bless him as long as there shines, O Allah, from every rising place, for Allah's sake,

فَجْرٌ وَمَا سَالَتْ عُيُونُ الأَشْعَابْ يَا اللهمِنْهَا تَفَرَّعْ شَيْءْ لِلّه

Fajrun wamā sālat ʿuyūnu al-ʾashʿāb yā Allāh, Minhā tafarraʿ shayʾ lillāh

A dawn, and as long as the springs of the ravines flow, O Allah, branching from them, for Allah's sake.
