يَا مَنْ سَرَيْتَ لَيْلًا مُصَاحِبَ جِبْرِيلَ

يَا مَنْ سَرَيْتَ لَيْلًا مُصَاحِبَ جِبْرِيلَلِلْمَسْجِدِ الْأَقْصَى فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ فِي تِلْكَ اللَّيْلَةِ

Yā man sarayta laylan muṣāḥiba jibrīla, Lilmasjidi al-ʾaqṣā fī tilka al-laylati fī tilka al-laylati

O you who journeyed by night in the company of Gabriel to the Furthest Mosque on that night, on that night,

حَبِيبِي يَا مُحَمَّد يَا صَادِقًا بِالْوَعْدِ يَا أَحْمَد يَا مُؤَيَّد مِنَ الْفَرْدِ الصَّمَديَا صَادِقَ الْمَقَالِ يَا ذَا الْمَقَامِ الْعَالِي يَا مَنْ حَبَاهُ رَبِّي بِطِيبِ الْأَفْعَالِ

Ḥabībī yā muḥammad yā ṣādiqan bi-al-waʿdi yā aḥmad yā muʾayyad mina al-fardi aṣ-ṣamad, Yā ṣādiqa al-maqāli yā dhā al-maqāmi al-ʿālī yā man ḥabāhu rabbī biṭībi al-ʾafʿāli

My beloved, O Muhammad, O you true to the promise, O Ahmad, O you supported by the Unique, the Eternal Refuge, O you true in speech, O you of the lofty station, O you whom my Lord graced with goodness of deeds,

صَلَّيْتَ يَا مُحَمَّد بِجَمْعِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ كُنْتَ فِيهِمْ إِمَامًا وَكَانُوا مُهْتَدِينَثُمَّ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ سِرْتَ لِلسَّمَاوَاتِ فَوْقَ ظَهْرِ الْبُرَاقِ لِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

Ṣallayta yā muḥammad bijamʿi al-mursalīna kunta fīhim imāman wakānū muhtadīna, Thumma baʿda aṣ-ṣalāti sirta lilssamāwāti fawqa ẓahri al-burāqi lirabbi al-ʿālamīna

You led, O Muhammad, the assembly of the messengers in prayer; you were their imam and they were rightly guided; then after the prayer you journeyed to the heavens on the back of al-Buraq to the Lord of the worlds,

بِيُمْنٍ وَسُرُورٍ وَفَوْقَ السِّدْرَةِ وَأُنْسٍ وَحُضُورٍ لِقُدْسِ الحَضْرَةِحَيَّاكْ إِلَى هُنَا وَقَدْ نِلْتَ الْمُنَى يَا مَنْ حَبَاهُ رَبِّي بِطِيبِ الْأَفْعَالِ

Biyumnin wasurūrin wafawqa as-sidrati waʾunsin waḥuḍūrin liqudsi al-ḥaḍrati, Ḥayyāk ilā hunā waqad nilta al-munā yā man ḥabāhu rabbī biṭībi al-ʾafʿāli

In good fortune and joy, and above the lote tree, in intimacy and presence, to the holiness of the Presence: "Welcome hither; you have attained your wish," O you whom my Lord graced with goodness of deeds.

حَبِيبِي يَا مُحَمَّد يَا صَادِقًا بِالْوَعْدِيَا أَحْمَد يَا مُؤَيَّد مِنَ الْفَرْدِ الصَّمَدِ

Ḥabībī yā muḥammad yā ṣādiqan bi-al-waʿdi, Yā aḥmad yā muʾayyad mina al-fardi aṣ-ṣamadi

My beloved, O Muhammad, O you true to the promise, O Ahmad, O you supported by the Unique, the Eternal Refuge.
