يَا كِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْ

يَاكِتَابَ الغُيُوبْ قَدْ لَجَأْنَا إِلَيْكْيَا شِفَاءَ الصُّدُورْ الصَّلَاةُ عَلَيْكْ

Yākitāba al-ghuyūb qad lajaʾnā ilayk, Yā shifāʾa aṣ-ṣudūr aṣ-ṣalātu ʿalayk

O book of the unseen, we have taken refuge in you; O healing of the breasts, blessings be upon you.

أَنْتَ بِالِافْتِتَاحْ خَتْمُ حِزْبِ النَّجَاحْوَمَنَارُ الصَّلَاحْ لَاحَ مِنْ مَظْهَرَيْكْ

Anta biāliāftitāḥ khatmu ḥizbi an-najāḥ, Wamanāru aṣ-ṣalāḥ lāḥa min maẓharayk

You are the opening and the seal of the party of success, and the lighthouse of righteousness has shone from your two aspects.

أَنْتَ رُوحُ الوُجُودْ كَنْزُ فَضْلٍ وَجُودْفِي مَقَامِ الشُّهُودْ كُلُّ فَضْلٍ لَدَيْكْ

Anta rūḥu al-wujūd kanzu faḍlin wajūd, Fī maqāmi ash-shuhūd kullu faḍlin ladayk

You are the spirit of existence, a treasure of bounty and generosity; in the station of witnessing, every bounty is with you.

أَنْتَ مَجْلَى الجَلَالْ فِي نِظَامِ الجَمَالْكُلُّ هَذَا النَّوَالْ فَاضَ مِنْ رَاحَتَيْكْ

Anta majlā al-jalāl fī niẓāmi al-jamāl, Kullu hadhā an-nawāl fāḍa min rāḥatayk

You are where majesty appears in the order of beauty; all this bounty has poured from your palms.

أَنْتَ سِرُّ الكِتَابْ عَنْكَ فَصْلُ الخِطَابْوَبِيَوْمِ الحِسَابْ فَالرُّجُوعُ إِلَيْكْ

Anta sirru al-kitāb ʿanka faṣlu al-khiṭāb, Wabiyawmi al-ḥisāb fa-ar-rujūʿu ilayk

You are the secret of the Book; from you comes decisive speech, and on the Day of Reckoning the return is to you.

أَنْتَ طَهَ الرَّسُولْ تَاجُ أَهْلِ القَبُولْكُلُّ هَمِّي يَزُولْ بِاعْتِمَادِي عَلَيْكْ

Anta ṭaha ar-rasūl tāju ahli al-qabūl, Kullu hammī yazūl biʿtimādī ʿalayk

You are Taha the Messenger, crown of the accepted; all my worry vanishes through my reliance on you.

طَلْعَةُ المَحْبُوبْ غَايَةُ المَطْلُوبْمَنْ رَأَى يَدْرِي وَالسِّوَى مَحْجُوبْ

Ṭalʿatu al-maḥbūb ghāyatu al-maṭlūb, Man raʾā yadrī wa-as-siwā maḥjūb

The face of the beloved is the utmost of what is sought; whoever has seen knows, and all others are veiled.

وَجْهُهُ ظَاهِرْ بَاهِرُ الأُسْلُوبْلَوْحُ نُورَانِي بِالوَرَى مَكْتُوبْ

Wajhuhu ẓāhir bāhiru al-ʾuslūb, Lawḥu nūrānī bi-al-warā maktūb

His face is manifest, dazzling in its style, a tablet of light inscribed upon creation.

جَلَّ مَنْ أَبْدَعْ سِرَّهُ المُودَعْفِي جَمِيْعِ الكَوْنْ فَافْتَحِ المَخْدَعْ

Jalla man abdaʿ sirrahu al-mūdaʿ, Fī jamiyʿi al-kawn faftaḥi al-makhdaʿ

Majestic is the One who originated his secret, deposited in all creation; so open the inner chamber.

وَعَلَيْكَ السَّلَامْ يَا رَسُولَ الأَنَامْمَا شَدَا مُسْتَهَامْ بِالصَّلَاةِ عَلَيْكْ

Waʿalayka as-salām yā rasūla al-ʾanām, Mā shadā mustahām bi-aṣ-ṣalāti ʿalayk

Upon you be peace, O Messenger of mankind, as long as an enraptured one sings blessings upon you.
