Qamarun qamarun qamarun sīdnā an-nabī qamarun, Wajamīl wajamīl wajamīl sīdnā an-nabī wajamīl
A moon, a moon, a moon: our master the Prophet is a moon! Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful: our master the Prophet is beautiful!
Waʾajmalu minka lam tara qaṭṭu ʿaynun Allāh Allāh, Waʾaṭyabu minka lam talidi an-nisaʾāʾu Allāh Allāh
No eye has ever seen anyone more beautiful than you, Allah, Allah; no woman has ever borne anyone purer than you, Allah, Allah.
Khuliqta mubarraʾan min kulli ʿaybin, Kaʾannaka qad khuliqta kamā tashaʾāʾu
You were created free of every flaw, as though you had been created as you wished.
Wakaffu al-muṣṭafā ka-al-wardi nādī Allāh Allāh, Waʿiṭruhā yabqā idhā massat ayādī Allāh Allāh
The hand of the Chosen One is like a dewy rose, Allah, Allah; its fragrance lingers when it touches other hands, Allah, Allah,
Waʿamma nawāluhā kulla al-ʿibādi, Ḥabību Allāhi yā khayra al-barāyā
And its bounty reached all of Allah's servants; beloved of Allah, O best of creation!
Kaḥīlu aṭ-ṭarfi ḥabībī law tarāhu Allāh Allāh, Ḍaḥūku as-sinni lilʿāshiq ramāhu Allāh Allāh
Kohl-eyed is my beloved, if only you could see him, Allah, Allah; smiling, he has struck the lover's heart, Allah, Allah.
Bahiyyu aṭ-ṭalʿa fa-al-mawlā ṣṭafāhu, Wakullu al-khalqi min anwāri ṭaha
Radiant of face, and so the Master chose him, and all creation comes from the lights of Taha.
Walā ẓilla lahu bal kāna nūrā Allāh Allāh, Tanālu ash-shamsa minhu wa-al-budūrā Allāh Allāh
He cast no shadow, for he was light, Allah, Allah; the sun and the full moons draw from him, Allah, Allah.
Walam yakuni al-hudā lawlā ẓuhūruh, Wakullu al-kawni anāra binūri ṭaha
Guidance would never have been but for his appearing, and all creation was lit by the light of Taha.
Warīqu al-muṣṭafā yashfī al-ʿalīla Allāh Allāh, Waʿaynu qatādata khudhhā dalīlā Allāh Allāh
The saliva of the Chosen One heals the sick, Allah, Allah; take the eye of Qatada as proof, Allah, Allah.
Tafal fī al-biʾri aḍḥat salsabīlan, Waṣāra liṣaḥbihi shahdan mudāmā
He spat into the well and it became a sweet spring, and it became for his Companions like honey and wine.
