Hubbu an-Nabi Wa al-Ali Dini

Ḥubbu an-nabī wa-al-ʾāli dīnī, Wamadhhabī ḥaqqan wayaqīnī

Love of the Prophet and his family is my religion, truly my way and my certainty.

Fa-ash-shamsu baʿḍun min ḍiyāhu, Wa-al-badru nawʿun min sanāhu

The sun is part of his radiance, and the full moon a kind of his light,

Wa-al-kullu fī maʿnāhu tāhū, Lam yudrikū dhāka al-maqām

And all are lost in his meaning; they have not grasped that station.

Yā ahla al-bayti ḥusibnā ʿalaykum, Yā rijāla Allāh ariqqa ladaykum

O People of the House, we are counted as yours; O men of Allah, be tender toward us;

Lāḥiẓūnā birimshi ʿaynaykum, Naḥnu likhuddāmkum khuddām

Notice us with the lashes of your eyes; we are servants of your servants.

Akhliṣ liḥubbihim lā takun lāhī, Kun ʿabdan ṣaḥiyḥ ʿabdan lillāhi

Be sincere in loving them, do not be heedless; be a true servant, a servant of Allah;

ʿammā amar lā takun sāhī, Watbiʿ sharīʿat ahli Allāh

Do not be negligent of what He commanded, and follow the way of the people of Allah.

Awwāhun qad zāda nuḥūlī, Wazāda hammī wadhuhūlī

Ah, my emaciation has grown, and my worry and my bewilderment have grown;

Lakin bimadḥī lilrrasūli, Shufītu min kulli al-ʾasqām

But by my praise of the Messenger I have been healed of every sickness.

Ahdī ṣalātī maʿ salāmī, Ilā an-nabī al-hādī at-tihāmī

I offer my blessings with my peace to the Prophet, the guide of Tihama,

Wa-al-ʾāli wa-aṣ-ṣaḥbi al-kirāmi, Narjū bihim ḥusna al-khitām

And to his family and noble Companions; through them we hope for a good end.
