حَسْبِي رَبِّي جَلَّ الله

حَسْبِي رَبِّي جَلَّ اللهمَا فِي بِقَلْبِي غَيْرُ اللَّهْ

Ḥasbī rabbī jalla Allāh, Mā fī biqalbī ghayru Allāh

My Lord suffices me, majestic is Allah; there is nothing in my heart but Allah.

أَيُّهَا الحَامِلُ هَمّاًإِنَّ هَذَا لَا يَدُومُ

Ayyuhā al-ḥāmilu hamman, Inna hadhā lā yadūmu

O you who carry worry, this will not last.

مِثْلَمَا تَفْنَى المَسَرَّةْهَكَذَا تَفْنَى الهُمُومْ

Mithlamā tafnā al-masarra, Hakadhā tafnā al-humūm

Just as joy passes away, so worries pass away.

أَنْتَ شَافِي أَنْتَ كَافِيأَنْتَ لِي نِعْمَ الوَكِيلْ

Anta shāfī anta kāfī, Anta lī niʿma al-wakīl

You are my healer, You are my sufficiency, You are for me the best Trustee.

أَنْتَ عَوْنِي أَنْتَ حَسْبِيأَنْتَ لِي نِعْمَ الكَفِيلْ

Anta ʿawnī anta ḥasbī, Anta lī niʿma al-kafīl

You are my help, You are my reckoning, You are for me the best Guarantor.

عَافِنِي مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍوَاقْضِ عَنِّي حَاجَتِي

ʿāfinī min kulli dāʾin, Waqḍi ʿannī ḥājatī

Heal me of every illness, and fulfil my need for me.

إِنَّ لِي قَلْباً سَقِيماًأَنْتَ مَنْ يَشْفِي العَلِيلْ

Inna lī qalban saqīman, Anta man yashfī al-ʿalīl

I have a sick heart, and You are the One who heals the sick.

لَا تُدَبِّرْ لَكَ أَمْراًفَذَوُوا التَّدْبِيرِ هَلْكَى

Lā tudabbir laka amran, Fadhawū at-tadbīri halkā

"Do not arrange any affair for yourself, for those who arrange perish.

كُلُّ شَيْءٍ بِقَضَانَابِرِضَانَا خَلِّ عَنْكَ

Kullu shayʾin biqaḍānā, Biriḍānā khalli ʿanka

Everything is by Our decree; leave it to Our good pleasure.

أَيُّهَا الحَامِلُ هَمّاًإِنَّ حَمْلَ الهَمِّ شِرْكٌ

Ayyuhā al-ḥāmilu hamman, Inna ḥamla al-hammi shirkun

O you who carry worry, carrying worry is a kind of associating partners.

سَلِّمِ الْأَمْرَ إِلَيْنَانَحْنُ أَوْلَى بِكَ مِنْكَ

Sallimi al-ʾamra ilaynā, Naḥnu awlā bika minka

Surrender the matter to Us; We have more right to you than you."
