فَيَا نَفَحَاتِ اللهِ يَا عَطَفَاتِهِ

فَيَا نَفَحَاتِ اللهِ يَا عَطَفَاتِهِوَيَا جَذَبَاتِ الْحَقِّ جُودِي بِزَوْرَةِ

Fayā nafaḥāti Allāhi yā ʿaṭafātihi, Wayā jadhabāti al-ḥaqqi jūdī bizawrati

O breaths of Allah's grace, O His kindnesses, O attractions of the Real, grant us a visit!

وَيَا نَظَرَاتِ اللّهِ يَا لَحَظَاتِهِوَيَا نَسَمَاتِ اللُّطْفِ أُمِّي بِهَبَّةِ

Wayā naẓarāti Allāhi yā laḥaẓātihi, Wayā nasamāti al-luṭfi ummī bihabbati

O glances of Allah, O His looks, O breezes of gentleness, come to us in a gust!

وَيَا غَارَةَ الرَّحْمَانِ جِدِّي بِسُرْعَةِإِلَيْنَا وَحُلِّي عَقْدَ كُلِّ مُلِمَّةِ

Wayā ghārata ar-raḥmāni jiddī bisurʿati, Ilaynā waḥullī ʿaqda kulli mulimmati

O swift help of the Most Merciful, hasten to us, and untie the knot of every calamity!

وَيَا رَحْمَةَ الرَّبِّ الرَّحِيْمِ تَوَجَّهِيوَأَحْيِي بِرُوْحِ الفَضْلِ كُلَّ رَمِيْمَةِ

Wayā raḥmata ar-rabbi ar-raḥiymi tawajjahī, Waʾaḥyī biruwḥi al-faḍli kulla ramiymati

O mercy of the Merciful Lord, turn to us, and revive with the spirit of bounty every decayed thing!

وَيَاكُلَّ أَبْوَابِ الْقَبُولِ تَفَتَّحِيفَإِنَّ مَطَايَا الْقَصْدِ نَحْوَكَ أَمَّتِ

Wayākulla abwābi al-qabūli tafattaḥī, Faʾinna maṭāyā al-qaṣdi naḥwaka ammati

O all you gates of acceptance, open, for the mounts of our aim have headed toward you!

وَيَاسُحُبَ الْجُوْدِ الْإِلَهِيِّ أَمْطِرِيفَإِنَّ أَكُفَّ الْمَحْلِ تِلْقَاكِ مُدَّتِ

Wayāsuḥuba al-juwdi al-ʾilahiyyi amṭirī, Faʾinna akuffa al-maḥli tilqāki muddati

O clouds of divine generosity, rain down, for the hands of the drought-stricken are stretched out to you,

بِحُرْمَةِ هَادِيْنَا وَمُحْيِيْ قُلُوْبِنَاوَمُرْشِدِنَا نَهْجَ الطَّرِيْقِ الْقَوِيْمَةِ

Biḥurmati hādiynā wamuḥyiy quluwbinā, Wamurshidinā nahja aṭ-ṭariyqi al-qawiymati

By the sanctity of our guide, the reviver of our hearts, who directs us along the upright path.

دَعَانَا إِلَى حَقٍّ بِحَقٍّ مُنَزَّلٍعَلَيْهِ مِنَ الرَّحْمَانِ أَفْضَلَ دَعْوَةِ

Daʿānā ilā ḥaqqin biḥaqqin munazzalin, ʿalayhi mina ar-raḥmāni afḍala daʿwati

He called us to the truth with a truth sent down upon him from the Most Merciful, the best of calls.

أَجَبْنَا قَبِلْنَا مُذْعِنِيْنَ لِأَمْرِهِسَمِعْنَا أَطَعْنَا عَنْ هُدىً وَبَصِيْرَةِ

Ajabnā qabilnā mudhʿiniyna liʾamrihi, Samiʿnā aṭaʿnā ʿan hudan wabaṣiyrati

We answered and accepted, submitting to his command; we heard and obeyed, with guidance and insight.

فَيَارَبِّ ثَبِّتْنَا عَلَى الْحَقِّ وَالْهُدَىوَيَارَبِّ اِقْبِضْنَا عَلَى خَيْرِ مِلَّةِ

Fayārabbi thabbitnā ʿalā al-ḥaqqi wa-al-hudā, Wayārabbi iqbiḍnā ʿalā khayri millati

O Lord, make us firm upon truth and guidance, O Lord, take us upon the best of faiths,

وَعُمَّ أُصُوْلاً وَالْفُرُوْعَ بِرَحْمَةٍوَأَهْلاً وَأَصْحَاباً وَكُلَّ قَرَابَةِ

Waʿumma uṣuwlan wa-al-furuwʿa biraḥmatin, Waʾahlan waʾaṣḥāban wakulla qarābati

And embrace forebears and descendants with mercy, families, companions and all kin,

وَسَائِرَ أَهْلِ الدِّيْنِ مِنْ كُلِّ مُسْلِمٍأَقَامَ لَكَ التَّوْحِيْدَ مِنْ غَيْرِ رِيْبَةِ

Wasāʾira ahli ad-diyni min kulli muslimin, Aqāma laka at-tawḥiyda min ghayri riybati

And all the people of the religion, every Muslim who upheld Your Oneness without doubt.

وَصَلِّ وَسَلِّمْ دَائِمَ الدَّهْرِ سَرْمَداًعَلَى خَيْرِ مَبْعُوْثٍ إِلَى خَيْرِ أُمَّةِ

Waṣalli wasallim dāʾima ad-dahri sarmadan, ʿalā khayri mabʿuwthin ilā khayri ummati

And send blessings and peace for all time, eternally, upon the best one sent to the best of nations,

مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَخْصُوْصِ مِنْكَ بِفَضْلِكَالْعَظِيْمِ وَإِنْزَالِ الْكِتَابِ وَحِكْمَةِ

Muḥammadin al-makhṣuwṣi minka bifaḍlika, Al-ʿaẓiymi waʾinzāli al-kitābi waḥikmati

Muhammad, singled out by You for Your mighty bounty, and for the sending down of the Book and wisdom.
