عَلَى بَابِ الْكَرَمْ وَالْجُود

اَللَّهْ اَللَّهُ اَللَّهْ اَللَّهُاَللَّهْ اَللَّهُ اَللَّهْ اَللَّهُ

Allāh Allāhu Allāh Allāhu, Allāh Allāhu Allāh Allāhu

Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah, Allah.

عَلَى بَابِ الْكَرَمْ وَالْجُودوَقَفْنَا نَسْأَلِ الْمَعْبُود

ʿalā bābi al-karam wa-al-jūd, Waqafnā nasʾali al-maʿbūd

At the door of generosity and bounty we have stood, asking the One we worship

يُعَامِلْنَا بِمَحْطِ احْسَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Yuʿāmilnā bimaḥṭi ḥsān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

To treat us with pure kindness, by the blessing of the master of creation.

إِمَامَ الرُّسْلِ طَهَ الزَّيْنحَبِيبَ اللَّه نُورِ الْعَيْن

Imāma ar-rusli ṭaha az-zayn, Ḥabība Allāh nūri al-ʿayn

Imam of the messengers, Taha the fair, beloved of Allah, light of the eye,

بِهِ يُجْلَى الصَّدَى وَالرَّانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Bihi yujlā aṣ-ṣadā wa-ar-rān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

By whom rust and stain are polished away, by the blessing of the master of creation.

فَيَاذَا الْجُودْ يَاوَاحِدوَيَا مَقْصُودْ يَاشَاهِد

Fayādhā al-jūd yāwāḥid, Wayā maqṣūd yāshāhid

O Possessor of generosity, O One, O One sought, O Witness,

تَفَضَّلْ مِنْكَ بِالرِّضْوَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Tafaḍḍal minka bi-ar-riḍwān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Grant us Your good pleasure, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَكُنْ عَوْنًا لَنَا يَارَبوَحَقِّقْ غَايَةَ الْمَطْلَب

Wakun ʿawnan lanā yārab, Waḥaqqiq ghāyata al-maṭlab

Be our help, O Lord, and fulfil the utmost of our request,

وَبَلِّغْنَا المُنَى يَا مَنْبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Waballighnā al-munā yā man, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

And bring us to our wishes, O Gracious One, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَثَبِّتْنَا عَلَى نَهْجِهْنَحُلْ يَارَبِّي فِي بُرْجِه

Wathabbitnā ʿalā nahjih, Naḥul yārabbī fī burjih

Make us firm upon his way, that we may alight, my Lord, in his tower,

نَرِدْ مَشْرُوبْ طَهَ الْهَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Narid mashrūb ṭaha al-hān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

And come to the sweet drink of Taha, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَنِبْلَغْ غَايَةَ الْآمَالوَمَالَاتَبْلَغَ الْأَقْوَال

Waniblagh ghāyata al-ʾāmāl, Wamālātablagha al-ʾaqwāl

And reach the utmost of our hopes, and what words cannot reach

مِنَ الْإِحْسَانْ يَامَنَّانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Mina al-ʾiḥsān yāmannān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Of kindness, O Bestower of favours, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَنُنْشِرْ رَايَةَ التَّقْوَىفِي الْإِسْرَارْ وَالنَّجْوَى

Wanunshir rāyata at-taqwā, Fī al-ʾisrār wa-an-najwā

May we spread the banner of piety, in secret and in intimate converse,

تَعُمْ قَاصِي الْوَرَى وَالدَّانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Taʿum qāṣī al-warā wa-ad-dān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Embracing far and near among creation, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَنُجْمَعْ فِي رِحَابِ الخَيْروَنَسْلُكْ مَعَ أَهْلِ السِّرّ

Wanujmaʿ fī riḥābi al-khayr, Wanasluk maʿa ahli as-sirr

May we gather in the courtyards of good, and travel with the people of the secret,

رِجَالِ الصِّدْقِ وَالعِرْفَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Rijāli aṣ-ṣidqi wa-al-ʿirfān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Men of truthfulness and gnosis, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَنُدْخُلْ فِي دَوَائِرِهِمْوَنُحْضُرْ فِي مَحَاضِرِهِم

Wanudkhul fī dawāʾirihim, Wanuḥḍur fī maḥāḍirihim

May we enter their circles, and be present in their gatherings,

وَنُسْمُرْ عَالْهَنَا وَالدَّانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Wanusmur ʿālhanā wa-ad-dān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

And spend the night in joy and song, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَنِشْرَبْ كَأْسْ سِرِّ السِّرّبِمَ لَا عَنْهُ حَدْ يُخْبِر

Wanishrab kaʾs sirri as-sirr, Bima lā ʿanhu ḥad yukhbir

May we drink the cup of the secret of secrets, of which no one can tell,

عَطَايَا مَالَهَا حُسْبَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

ʿaṭāyā mālahā ḥusbān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Gifts beyond all reckoning, by the blessing of the master of creation.

أَلَا يَا وَاسِعَ المَعْرُوفوَمَنْ بِالفَضْلِ هُوْ مَوْصُوف

Alā yā wāsiʿa al-maʿrūf, Waman bi-al-faḍli huw mawṣūf

O You of vast kindness, who are described by bounty,

عَظِيمَ الجُودْ وَالْإِحْسَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

ʿaẓīma al-jūd wa-al-ʾiḥsān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Mighty in generosity and goodness, by the blessing of the master of creation.

أَنِلْنَا فَوْقْ مَانَرْجُونُرَافِقْ مَنْ غَدًا يَنْجُو

Anilnā fawq mānarjū, Nurāfiq man ghadan yanjū

Grant us beyond what we hope for, that we may accompany those who tomorrow are saved

مِنَ الْأَهْوَالْ وَالنِّيرَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Mina al-ʾahwāl wa-an-nīrān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

From the terrors and the fires, by the blessing of the master of creation.

بِبَرْكَةِ النَّبِي طَهَأَجَلِّ كُلِّ الْوَرَى جَاهَه

Bibarkati an-nabī ṭaha, Ajalli kulli al-warā jāhah

By the blessing of the Prophet Taha, whose rank is the greatest of all creation,

عَظِيمِ المَنْزِلَهْ وَالشَّانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

ʿaẓīmi al-manzilah wa-ash-shān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

Mighty in station and standing, by the blessing of the master of creation.

وَنَبْلُغْ غَايَةَ المَقْصُودوَغَايَاتِ الكَرَمْ وَالجُود

Wanablugh ghāyata al-maqṣūd, Waghāyāti al-karam wa-al-jūd

May we reach the utmost of our aim, and the furthest reaches of generosity and bounty,

نُرَافِق صَفْوَةَ الرَّحْمَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Nurāfiq ṣafwata ar-raḥmān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

And accompany the elect of the Most Merciful, by the blessing of the master of creation.

عَلَيْهِ رَبُّنَا صَلَّىوَآلِهْ وَالَّذِي وَالَى

ʿalayhi rabbunā ṣallā, Waʾālih walladhī wālā

Upon him our Lord has sent blessings, and upon his family and those who befriended him,

وَصَحْبِهْ رَافِعِي البُنْيَانبِبَرْكَةِ سَيِّدِ الْأَكْوَان

Waṣaḥbih rāfiʿī al-bunyān, Bibarkati sayyidi al-ʾakwān

And his Companions, who raised the building high, by the blessing of the master of creation.
