A'id Lana Dhikra al-Ahbab

Aʿid lanā dhikrā al-ʾaḥbāb, Yā man ghadā yasbī al-ʾalbāb

Repeat to us the remembrance of the beloveds, O you who captivate minds,

Warwi ḥadīthan ʿanhum ṭāb, Wanfi bihim ʿannā al-ʾawṣāb

And relate a sweet tale of them, and banish our ailments through them.

Bihim ghadā ʿayshī ṣāfī, Waḥubbuhum lidāʾī shāfī

Through them my life has become pure, and love of them heals my illness.

Fa-al-waṣlu minhum lī wāfī, Fakam wakam ʿamma aṭ-ṭullāb

Union with them has come to me in full; how often it has embraced the seekers!

Yārabbanā ṣalli sarmad, ʿalā an-nabī ṭaha aḥmad

O our Lord, send blessings forever upon the Prophet, Taha Ahmad,

Mālāḥa ṭayrun aw gharrad, Waʾālihi thumma al-ʾaṣḥāb

As long as a bird appears or sings, and upon his family, then the Companions.
